We do not charge per minute as most other remote service providers do at this time. How long does a Remote Computer Session take? A Remote Computer Session will take anywhere from 25 minutes to an hour, but may exceed this time period in more extreme computer problem cases. In instances where there is an abundance of viruses, spyware or adware cleared from your system by a computer specialist, we may schedule an on-site follow up to ensure complete elimination of the problem, but this is rarely needed. Can a Cebcore Services Computer Specialist come to my residence or business? Absolutely! We can send a computer specialist to your home or small business location in any of our Service Areas. Our on-site service costs are as follows: Residential On-Site Computer Services: $40.00/hour (plus an on-site service call fee of $35.00) Small Business Computer Services: $50.00/hour (plus an on-site service call fee of $45.00) This is 1/3 of the amount charged by most on-site computer services available today as well as those computer repair shops who charge you to disassemble your computer system and take it to them! We offer the lowest on-site computer services hands down! When you call, we will schedule an on-site visit by a computer specialist who will assist you with your problem or hardware installtion request(s). Is your remote service easy to use? It's a breeze! All you have to do is call us, we set up your client account login for you, then simply login at our client services area and initiate the remote computer session. We do the rest! Do you work on Apple/Mac computer systems? At the current time we do not provide support for Macintosh computer systems. This service will be available in the near future. What's required for me to get Remote Computer Assistance? All that you need is a computer system (of course), and preferably a high-speed internet connection such as DSL or Cable. We can provide remote support on computer systems with dial-up or satellite connections, but the service time can be longer due to the slow connection speeds of these internet connection types. What computer operating systems do you support? Currently we support Windows computers systems running Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, and Vista. Although we support Windows 95 and 98, if you are using a system with one of these operating systems, we would recommend that you purchase a new computer system as you may be at risk of extensive computer infections due to the fact that these operating systems are not as supported and protected anymore as the newer ones. Once my Remote Computer Assitance day and time is scheduled, when do I login to get my computer fixed? Once a customer service representative has scheduled your Remote Computer Assistance day and time, a computer specialist will call you and advise you to login to the Client Services Area. Please allow a 15 minute window for us to call you if needed. When do I pay for the service I selected? Once we determine what service is required to fix your computer, the amount for this service as indicated on our website is due before services begin. We will securely process your payment and then begin the service(s) you selected. Does Cebcore charge by the minute? No! As an introductory remote computer repair solution you won't have to pay up to $100 for 1 hour worth of work. And, when and if we do start to charge by the hour, it will be much less than the leading remote computer repair service providers available today! Does Cebcore provide remote assistance on small business servers and workstations? We sure do! Cebcore Services provides assistance with the following small business network environments: All Windows 2000, XP and XP Pro workstations and all Windows Small Business Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003 systems.
